For Easter this year The Boy and the Baby received the same gift. It was the COOLEST thing ever! It is a little sand box with trucks and boulders. I think there are a few guys in there too. No matter. BOTH of them loved it!
The baby has played with it for hours at a time. And the mess hasn’t been too bad either. The Boy was super happy squishing the sand in his hands. I think I need to figure out some new ways to meet his sensory needs at home because he was really enjoying this <3 We can’t do the normal rice bins because he eats the rice and is allergic to it. I’m thinking a full fledged sandbox outside might be just what the doctor ordered. At least it will work until the cold sets in around October.
How are you handling your child’s sensory needs?
